One of the must must try food while in Penang is the Penang Road Famous Teochew Chendul. The original store is located at Lebuh Keng Kwee, off Penang Road. At this original stall, you have to stand to have your delicious dessert. But not anymore, the stall owner has modernized and now you can have your cendol in a aircon environment with proper sits.
As far as we know, there are now 4 locations in Penang that you can have this famous Teochew cendol. The good news is that you don't have to be in Penang to have this famous cendol, folks in the Klang Valley can go to Giant Shah Alam Stadium to have this famous delicacy from Penang. The stall is located in the Giant Shah Alam Stadium food court, stall FC9.
For us, the Penang cendol beats the famous Cendol Klang in Klang.
